Jim, a lifelong resident of Illinois, has spent 24 years living, working and serving in the community of the 45th District. Jim, along with his wife Maureen, raised their three children, Jim, Mick and Julie-Ann, in Roselle.

Jim’s character has been sculpted by his experiences. As a U.S. Army veteran, he knows what it means to serve his country. As a member of Local 73 Sheet Metal Workers, he understands the working man --- because he is one. As a Precinct committeeman of Bloomingdale Township and as a Delegate to the Democratic Party of DuPage County, he influences change.

As the State Representative for the 45th District, Jim Hagerty wants to influence change to improve the quality of life for the hard-working families of Illinois.
